HOW I GOT STARTED

KC Home Report :: Andi Telker

My husband and I built 10 years ago. We didn’t understand all the papers we were signing and got caught in a situation where we had no idea what we were doing and limited help with the 972 questions.

During the process we toured endless amount of new construction homes in Kansas City and took 2 million pictures that needed somewhere to go. I decided one day to start an instagram (KC Home Report) to show people what design trends were happening in the area.

Then as we built we learned things that I wanted to share with others, mainly for those building to learn from.

My instagram landed me a job interview for a builder that led me to designing a few models for them. I learned even more behind the scenes designing and was exposed to all the things that happen creating fantastic content for KC Home Report. My end goal was to help others learn and understand the process.

I decided to get my real estate license and have been able to help people buy new construction ever since. I am still using my platform to inform others of what to look for or look out for when building or buying.

I am a real estate agent that ONLY helps people buy new construction. I don’t take listings and I don’t help do resale, I have wonderful teammates for that.

I pride myself in being available every step of the way for my clients (probably too available, I'm a helper through and through).

From finding the perfect lot to helping guide or negotiate a finished new construction house. I know the process well and understand the timeline of what has to happen.

I think more and more people will be building and buying new construction than ever before. As timelines decrease and rates drops, people will want to customize their own house and choose to build and I can't wait to help YOU in Kansas City!
